The Dark Saiyans is a variant race of the Saiyan race's. The best known Dark Saiyan is Roll Hakai.

They are just as powerful and slightly more powerful than regular Saiyans. They began when regular Saiyans began. They are a normal, developed race that are associated with darkness. Most reside on Planet Saiyan's twin planet, Planet Saiyan-D. Roll Hakai is perhaps the best known and strong Dark Saiyan there is. Though they are highly associated with shadows and darkness (as that is their power) they are not evil, they are a race that fights for good.
